JANUARY 2nd-

This was mainly as a travel day as we had been stranded overnight in Phoenix, so since I was in the desert I got this shot of two palm tree trunks with the waning moon framed in between.  This was shortly before sunrise from our hotel and we quickly had to leave for the airport.  I also got this quick shot of a cactus at the hotel, not sure which of the two I prefer though.

This day was a trip to San Francisco to do some touristy thing.  Went to the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, had lunch at an Indian restaurant, checked out the view at Twin Peaks, and then walked on the beach at Baker Beach.  The photo for January 3rd is a shot of some chrome at the museum that created some interesting reflections.

Chrome Art at the de Young Museum in in San Francisco, CA I had lots of options on this day, here are a few others:  an in-focus out-of-focus shot, some artwork from New Guinea, Oceania, and Africa, a bench, white art, a cathedral made of guns and bullets, the Pacific, a surfer, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Also, apparently Baker Beach is a nudist beach, but not in the fun way...
