Catch up on the last couple days. The weather has been awful which definitely challenges the motivation to explore but today the sun actually came out, though it was a bit chilly!
Fisheye mounted to a tree viewed directly down on the treehouse. Remotely triggered the shutter from the sun porch. I believe this a European Starling chasing off some sort of finch. The Starling's aren't very nice and are bigger than most of the other local birds, so yeah.
This is a photo of one of the tigers in from front of Nassau Hall on campus with some of the "ivy" in the background. Nassau Hall is a fairly historic building. It's the oldest building on campus, was occupied both American and British forces during the Revolutionary War, and was the capital of the United States for several months during 1783.
Took a dog for a hike at Sourland Mountain in the afternoon. I definitely wouldn't classify it as a mountain, maybe a hill, it's maybe 500 feet above sea level and looks like a long ridge from the side. Pretty nice hike though, here's a cluster of boulders near the top.
Spotted a couple deer while crossing a bridge over Stony Brook while walking the dog. They were VERY interested in Alta. Wish I had the 500mm for the this shot but only 200mm and a slight crop here.
