Bonkers Corvallis Sunset
So, this image had potential to be epic, but ended up being a case of "holy crap the light is going to be insane in about 10 minutes, grab your gear and find any composition that might be ok!"
I had enough time to get the gear I wanted: tripod, 7D, 24-70, Grad ND, and get to a spot - a puddle in a grass field near my house, and this was the resulting image. I'm not in love with the composition and there was a bit of breeze moving through the field so the reflection wasn't as flat as I would have liked.
